Dr. Laura Ellis has the training and credentials you want in a vein surgeon. Dr. Ellis: "Why do I specialize in diagnosing and treating peripheral venous disease? First of all, there is a real need in this community for healthcare practitioners who help people with their varicose vein problems. What's more, I truly enjoy what I do. I get personal and professional satisfaction from helping my patients overcome their venous problems and I find it rewarding to help people to both look and feel better." Dr. Ellis lives in Fletcher with her husband, Dr. David T.Crouch, DVM, and their two sons, Mark (12 years old) and David (7 years old). Dr. Crouch is a veterinary orthopedic surgeon and pilot. The family volunteers to transport resuced animals with the non-profit organiztion "Pilots N Paws", and are members of the Asheville Humane Society Founder's Circle. Drs. Ellis and Crouch support the Animal Compassion Network and Dr. Crouch is a volunteer surgical consultant for the Community Partnership for Pets in Western North Carolina.
